I have a BS/BSc
in Psychology and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, where I studied the
relationship between intention and reactivity in the brain.
I followed this with a Post-doctoral Fellowship on a National Science Foundation Grant in the Department of Educationat
Washington University in St Louis. I examined museum educators
professional development experiences in Museums and Universities and
developed K-2 programs for under-served schools using Museum and other
Informal learning exhibits within a formal educational environment. I am the community partner for Partners to Empowerment Wellness Center in Beachwood: www.partners-to-empowerment.com
The birth of my second child led me to Yoga and Meditation. I completed the OM Yoga 200-hour teacher
training in 2008, which I quickly followed with the Yoga Ed. training
(2009) and the OM Yoga 300-hour teacher training (2011). I meditate
every day and encourage my three kids, husband and dog to get Yoga Brained with me!
